I looked in the error logs and the pop3connector.log and this is the message I get: An error occurred while delivering mail to '[email protected]' on the SMTP server 'localhost'. The error code was 0x800ccc67. I was obviously wrong. weblink Anyway, I would disable any Firewalls from the Server and client's computer for now.
It found problem in FROM address and instead of saving this mail in BAD mail directory (or something else) or saving this mail in common mailbox like did the connector in Exchange will close an SMTP connection after a certain number of protocol errors (5 by default). It is mainly to do with invalid headers in the incoming message but is there a way to resolve this or to make exchange server ignore these errors.
